Fruitbull receives 285.000 € from ESADE BAN

Fruitbull, one of the more promising startups in Spain, has received 285.000 € in the first round of funding by the 12 business angels of ESADE BAN.

Fruitbull was created with the mission to provide transparency in the fruit and vegetable market. The company gives benefits to both industry and consumers thanks to the parameterization of fresh products, reducing the fruits and vegetables waste and contributing to the growth of this market.

Fernando Zallo, director of ESADE BAN, explained the importance of having 18 investors of ESADE BAN, sharing 18% of the capital of Fruitbull, together with Wayra, BStartup (Sabadell Bank) and the entrepreneurs, because it is a good example of “business angels” and “smart money” actions. He said “Three of the ESADE BAN investors will participate in the Board of Directors of the Company, where they will be representing the other members of the red of investors as well as bringing value to the company on different areas of knowledge and business experience”
